Protein Packed Rice Krispie Treats

Protein Packed Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients:
- 110g Rice cereal
- 120g Date paste
- 40g Agave syrup
- 100g Brown rice syrup
- 42g Coconut oil
- 12g Protein powder
- 20g Oatmilk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1 Tbsp Ground flaxseed
- 15g Dessicated coconut
- 10g Sliced almonds
Equipment:
- Saucepan
- Spatula
- Large bowl
- Baking tray
Steps:
- Combine date paste, syrups, coconut oil, flax, protein powder and oatmilk in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Stir constantly until smooth and just starting to bubble, about 3–5 minutes. The flax will thicken the mixture slightly — that’s good.
- Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla and sea salt.
- Pour the hot mixture over the rice cereal in a large bowl. Fold quickly and gently until all cereal is coated.
- Spread evenly in a baking tray. Top with sliced almonds and coconut.
- Cool in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
